 I  got  this  trifold  die   a  while  ago  aand  this  is  the  first  time  I have  used it  . I  began  the  designs  by using  inks  with  a  Lavinia  stencil  for  the background of  each  colour  . I used  a Cedar  die on  each  one  using  Versafine  Clair  inks  using  different  generation  stamping  .  To  complete  each  section I  added  embellishment  butterflies  .

 This  card (I hope) is with  a  background    full of  Spring  colours  which  are my  favourite  . This is  another of  the  die  cut  fronted  cards  that  I have been  making  , The base  card of  this one is  black  so  I  stamped  with  Versamark and  added  white  embossing powder  before  colouring  with  Promarkers .  76 is  a  difficult  birthday  to  centre a  theme on  but  a  big one  to  remember  .  I  found out  reccently  that  Lily of  the  Valley is  the  flower  for  May.  The other  flower is  Hawthorn  but  I  prefer Lily of  the  valey  . I used  a  digi  which  I  fussy  cut  and  as usual  coloured it  with  Promarkers  I  layered it  with  a  trellis  die  cut  and  dark  green mirri  card .  I  added  paint  splats  and  dew  drops  to  the  base  card  for  rain  and  completed  the card  with  die  cut Month  and  stamp.

 This cute pig  design  came  from  Little  Clare  stamps  . I have had it  for  a long  time  and  thought it  would   be  suitable  for  the  colour  scheme  used in  this  card  .  This image came  from  Bugaboo  which  are  sadly  no  longer  trading  . I  fussy  cut it,  coloured  with  Promarkers  and  added  gold  flock  powder  to  give  a  furry  appearance  .  It is  a long  time  since  I used  this  cute  image on  a  card  .  I  got  quite  messy  making  the  background  for  this  card , as  I used  mica  sprays  and  inks both  from  Lavinia  to  make  the  background  . After  stamping  the  characters  (Midnight meanderings } , I used  Panpastels   to  create  a misty  effect  completing  the  card  with  more stamps  and  ink  splatters  for the  rain .
