Summer flowers

I  experimented  with the background  to this  card  !  After  dry  embossing  the  base  card  with  a  brick  embossing  folder  I  sprayed it  with  green  mica  paint  before  adding  yellow  and pink  mica  powder  and  gold  embossing powder  before  heating it  all  .I die cut  a  green paper  border using  Tonic  Twisting  verandah  border  die  , I  then  added  a doily  which  I  edged  with  gilding  wax  (not  that you  can  see it under  the flowers !!) I  die  cut leaves  using spellbinders  Ferns  die  added  some  gold leaf  embellishments  from  my  stash  and  then  raided  my  stash of  flowers  and made  them into  a  posy  .  Finally  I  added Pink organza  ribbon  and  bow  and  a peel off  sentiment  ,  I added  the  second  photo  to  show  the  background  more clearly  .
