I love making  shaker  cards  now  I have  got  the hang of  sealing  it up  !!
 I  began  this  card by  dry  embossing  a piece of  spotty  paper  sanding it  and  colouring  the  shapes  which reminded  me of  water lilies  .  The  image is  Pink  Gem  'Andy  with  frog ' which  I  coloured  with promarkers  .
I  decided  to  make  the  card  around  this  image  and  designed  a background  to  include  a pond  .
I  coloured  a  die  cut  and  stuck  the  acetate  to  that  ,My idea  was to make  all  the  confetti  into  frogspawn but  after  chasing  the  bits  all over  the  floor  gave up on  the  dots  for some of  them  !
The other  embellishments  I  added  are frog  stickers  .Die  cut  ferns  by  tattered  lace and googly  eyes  .I  designed  the  sentiment  with  the  background  ,Can  you  see  the  frog  by  Andy's  right  knee  ?

I  found  this  image again   coloured  it  and  decided to  make  yet  another  baby  card .
The image  I  used is 'Night  night little  one  from  'All dressed up .I  coloured it  with  promarkers and  white  flock  to  give it  texture .
I  designed  background  using  digikits  .
I used  blue  stripey  paper  for  the  background embellishing  some with  stickles  and  liquid  pearls
also  using  glossy accents  .
The other  embellishments  I used  are  gingham ribbon  and  bow ,footprint  buttons  , paper  flowers,  star button,  tag  sentiment  from LOTV and  handwritten  statement  .

I  can  see myself  using  this  stamp  for  several  cards  this year  as it is  so cute  .
It is  from  L.C. Designs  and is  a    stamp  called  Little  Robin  Redbreast  ,  I  coloured it  with  Promarkers  and  added  stickles in  green  red and  silver  .

 I  just love  the  expressions  on  the  faces of  these  baby  animals  and  decided  to  colour  them  in  pastel  tones ,The image is  Baby  Animals  from  Pink  Gem  and  I  coloured it  with  Promarkers  ,
I used  a background  piece of  paper  from  LOTV Paper Pad .  I layered  the  design with black card, which  was  cut out using  a  stitched  square   die  .

I  really  had  no idea  for  an  alien  card  ! However  I  decided to  make it as  bright  as I  could ,
I  found  some  suitable  'characters'  in  a digikit  so  added  them  to  the background  , The  card  background is  made  by  dry  embossing  a  piece of  magic  card  which  when  sanded  shows up in many different  colours  . The  diecut  border is  from  Tonic Venetian Lace  layer  die  which  I  coloured  with  various  shades of  promarkers  .      To  complete  the card  I  added  feathers.card candi  from  Craft  creations  and  a  sentiment  made on  a  dymo  marker using  clear  tape   .

 Today  I  needed  a change  from  Christmas  cards  !! I  bought  this little  bird  box  a few weeks  ago.  It  was  chipboard  and is  only  about  three  inches  high
I  covered  the  box  in  wood  papers  and  a  stone  roof  .I used PMs  for  the  edges  and  put  flock  powder  onto  the  base  .I  covered  the  whole  box  with  decopatch  glitter  glue  ,
The  embellishments  that  I  added  were  die  cut  card  (grass  )  die  cut  fence , Paper  flowers  stickles,  liquid pearls  die  cut  leaves  Spellbinders  ferns  ,Owl  sticker  ,fairy  lights  pearl  string  from  Noor  design. I made  tha  SOLD  notice  with  card  peel off letters  and  straw  ,
The owl  looks  so proud of  his  new  home  !

I  got  the inspiration  for  joining  two  wavy  stamps  from  a  course  at  L.C.  Designs  at  the  weekend  . I  really  like this  wavy  stamp of theirs  .It is  a new  one of their  Christmas  range  and is  called 'Wavy  Christmas  ' .
I  tried  to  get  the  Pastel  colours  that  I  coloured it  with my Promarkers  in  the  surrounds  of  the card  .I  dug out my  blossom  Martha  Stewart  All  around  the  page  punch  and used  rainbow  paper  ,I  die  cut  a snowflake  from  a  Cricut  cartridge  a star  from  a spellbinders  die  and  the heart  shape is   Precious  heart  die  by Memory  Box  , I also  punched  a  snowflake  with  a  Woodware  punch ..I  coloured  the  ribbon  with  promarkers  .. 
Other  embellishments I  added  are  Aleemes  glitter  snow  ,Liquid  Pearls,stickles  and  glitter  .

I  really  had  fun  decoupaging  and  embellishing  these  'sunny 'objects .
I  began  this  card  by  adding  a  piece of  cloud  patterned  paper  for  the  background
Using  a  serif  digikit  I  found many  images  and  a background of  the  seashore
I  wanted  to  add sand  texture  to  the beach  and  use  flocking powder  .Unfortunately  I  did  not have  the  right  colour  but  soon  found  the  colours  can be  mixed like  paint  ,  To  make  the  sand  colour  ,I  mixed  green  orange  and yellow  ,I have just ordered  some more  flocking  powder in  several  colours  ,The  cheapest way  is  to  buy  from  a  nail  art  store  as  they  do  small amounts  cheaply  and it  goes  a long  way  ,
I  decoupaged  the  flips  flops  ball  and  icecream  and  cut out  the other items  ,The  sunny  word is  a wooden  sentiment  and  I  added  glossy  accents , stickles and liquid  pearls    to most  of  the  objects to  give  them  more  sparkle  and  shine  , The bubbles  were  made  with  Dovecraft  pearls in  clear .

This is  a  stamp  I  should  use  more often  as  it is  so pretty  , I love  to  see  the poppies  and  cornflowers in the fields in  the  summer  and  I  grow  cornflowers  each year in my garden  ,

The  photo of  the  cherries  made me  immediately  think of  Christmas  tree  baubles  hence  this  design  .
The  base  card is  a fancy  landscape  mini  card  from  LC  Designs,  The  background  paper  is  Craftwork  cards  Marble paper  .I  dry  embossed it using  a freebie  folder  and  coloured it  using  Panpastels  . The  baubles  are  die  cut  cardboard  shapes  which  I  coloured  with  Promarkers  and  Red  and  gold  gilding  wax .   The  embellishments  are peel offs  lines  and  sentiment  coloured  with pens  .

As  with  the last  card I posted , the  sun  today  has taken  some of  the brightness out of  this  card in the photo  .

The lovely  sunshine  we have  today  is making it  difficult  for me  to  photo  this  card  (not  that  I  am  complaining  about  the  sun  ! )
I  began  by  dry  embossing  the  base  card  with  a  diamond  shape  folder  .  I  cut  the  next layer  using  Tonic  Twisting  verandah  layering  die  and  dry  embossed  that  with  a  snowflake  folder  , I  then  coloured it  with  Panpastels  and  sprayed it  with  CC Spray  and  sparkle.  The  next layer is  a  spellbinders  die  cut  ,
I  stmaped  LOTV  Canine  Choir  stamp onto  a  circular  die  cut  and  coloured  it  with  Promarkers  .
I  decided  to  use  an  acetate  snowflake  overlay  so  photo'd  it  first  without it , secondly  with it  and thirdly  with it  bent  back  as it  couldnt be  seen  well in  the photo.
The embellishments  that  I  used  are
Joy  snowflake  die  cuts
LC  Designs  sentiment  with  organza  bow  and  snowflake  charm  . Aleene's  glitter  snow  and  Liquid  pearls in  white   for  the  added  snow .

I used  another of  my  favourite Di's  digi  stamps  for  this  card  .i  wanted  the background  to  look like  a plate  so I  used  my own  background  designed  paper using  Toolbox  to  design  a paper 'Now  bring us  a  figgy  pudding '  . 
I  used  a LOTV  paper  for  the  surround  and added  a spellbinders  die  cut  circle  .  I  fussy  cut  the  Dis  digi  stamp which is Holly  Pudding  by  Dis  digis  designs  .I  coloured it  with  promarkers  and  added  Liquid pearls  pale yellow  for  the  custard  .I  added  glossy  accents  for  the  holly  berries and  leaves  .
I  wanted  to make  the background  to  look like  a plate  for  the pudding  so I used  a  white  circular  die  cut  added  LOTV  Holly  Paper  and  then layered  it  with  A  Spellbinders die .
I  added a  self  made  Figgy  pudding  sentiment  from my  stash  .

Iwas so  impressed  with the  colours  of Jens card in  this  challenge  nd  decided  that  I wanted to use  the  same  colours  as her on my  card  .

I  began  my  card  with  a  dark  blue  base card .I  added it  to  a  white  A5  card base  and  edged it  with  blue  coloured peel offs  . I  added  a  die cut  circle  from  craftwork  cards  marble pad  .
I  added Panpastels, White  and blue  frantage  and  white embossing powder .
I  added  Papercut  wings  to  the ' a day for  daisies free image ' which I  coloured  with  promarkers  .
The embellishments  that  I  added  are stickles in  clear  silver  and  turquoise  . The sentiment is  from LOTV  which  I  adapted  to suit  the  lettering of  the original  card  . I added  Jones  Tones  iridescent  gkitter to  emphasise  the  wings and  finally  confetti  stars   ..

I  began  this card using  a  black  base  card .I  die  cut  a  thin border  using  Tonic Venetian Lace  layering  dies  for  the edge of  the blackboard  .

then I glittered  the  ruler  .

I  experimented  with the background  to this  card  !  After  dry  embossing  the  base  card  with  a  brick  embossing  folder  I  sprayed it  with  green  mica  paint  before  adding  yellow  and pink  mica  powder  and  gold  embossing powder  before  heating it  all  .I die cut  a  green paper  border using  Tonic  Twisting  verandah  border  die  , I  then  added  a doily  which  I  edged  with  gilding  wax  (not  that you  can  see it under  the flowers !!) I  die  cut leaves  using spellbinders  Ferns  die  added  some  gold leaf  embellishments  from  my  stash  and  then  raided  my  stash of  flowers  and made  them into  a  posy  .  Finally  I  added Pink organza  ribbon  and  bow  and  a peel off  sentiment  ,  I added  the  second  photo  to  show  the  background  more clearly  .

I have  made  this  card  for  a great niece  who is  10  this  month  and  I  didnt  want it  to  be too babyish  for  a  young  lady  so  I hope I  have  gauged it  right .

I  decided  to  do  some paper piecing on  this  card  and  added  a gingham  dress  and  bow  to  her hat  .
I  began  by  dry  embossing  a  sheet of  spotty  paper  from LC  designs  with a  brick  folder.I  die  cut  a  spellbinders oval,  cut out  the  centre  and added  LC  Ombre  paper in  red  behind it .
 I  mounted  the  stamped  image , which I  coloured  with  Promarkers ,with sticky pads  and printed  the  sentiment  . I  embellished  the  stamp  with  stickles  in  clear  and  red

This  is  another of  Di's  digi  Mice  'Holly  Mice  '  which  I  fussy cut , coloured  with  promarkers  and  added  glossy  accents  to  the holly  . I  wanted  this  image  to  stand out  so  I  made it  a  Cand  S card  .

I have  had this  stamp  for  a  few  years  and it  never  fails  to  make  me  smile  . It is  a Penny  Black  stamp  and one  of  Margaret Sherry's  collection  . It is  called  Difficult  and  could be  a  card  for many  of  those  awkward  situations .  I  stamped  this  straight on to  the  base  card, coloured it  with  Promarkers   and just  added  some  flower peel off  to  which  I  added pearl  drops  . I  surrounded  the  image  with  a  peel off  white  circle .This was one of those  items  I had  forgotten  I  had  , I used Panpastel on  the  card  and  added  the  sentiment  from  a  dymo  tape  .

I  added  Lace  braid  and  washi  tape  coloured  to  match the  papers  ,
I  fussy  cut  Monty mouse  from  Dis  digistamps  after  colouring it  with promarkers  .
To  complete  that  card  I  added  some  paper  flowers  ,stickles  and  liquid pearls.

 I  really  enjoyed making  this  card  .Originally  I  decided  to  do  it in  monochrome  but  ended up  colouring  each  flower in  different  shades of one colour  , I  did this  with  promarkers  . I used  rainbow  card  from my  stash  to  back each piece  ,sprayed it  all  with  Spray  and  sparkle  before  using  Liquid  pearls in  black  for  the  stamens  I  added  a peel off  sntiment .

Before  I  started  this card  I  didn't  want  to make  another  sky  and  sand  card  .I  went on  a  very  different  take and decided  that  I  do like  the  colours  together  They  are  so  bright  and cheerful  .
I used  background  papers  from  LC  designs using  their  gingham   and  spotty  papers  .  I edge  all  my  papers  and the edge of  the card  with promarkers  as  I hate to  see  white  edges  ,
Then  I  die  cut  a border  using  Tonic  Verandah  die.  The  wooden frame is  from  my  stash  and  the  stamp is  from  LC  designs  .It is  a  Dinkie  Bees  flower  clear  stamp  .It  comes  with  a circle  around it  but  for  this  shape  frame I left it off  .I  coloured it  with promarkers  and  added  stickles  glossy  accents  and a peel off  sentiment  ,

The main image  for  this  card  came from  Hip  Hooray its  Daisy  May  CD  by Whoopsie  Daisy
I  added  some other  christmas  images  and used  a paper  from  the cd  as wallpaper  behind  Daisy  May  . The  die  cut is  from  Tonic  verandah  and the  background paper is  from  LC designs
Snowy Ombre  Paper  .
To  complete the  card I  added  gingham  ribbon  and  bow  from  my  stash  and  a  peel off  sentiment  .

This  card  began  as  experiment ,I  wanted  to use  a  stamp on  dark  card  and  see  how  I  could make  it  show up  .
I began the background  with  a  piece of  Hunkydory  gilded  card  .The next layer  I  designed  myself using  a  graphics  program.  The  border is  cut using  a  Tonic  Venetian lace  layering  die  to  which I  added  sequins 
The  stamp  is from  LOTV  and is  Christmas star  . To  colour this  I used  Aleene's  glitter  snow
Stickles  in  several colours  and liquid  pearls beginning with a white pen to provide a base  . I made  the sentiment using  a  tape  marker  .

Using  Ombre  papers  and  matching  them  with other  materials  is  something  I  really  enjoy doing  .
The image  I  used  for  this  card is  from  a  Day  for  daisies  and is  called  Flower maiden  .I  coloured it  with  promarkers  and  added  blue  and  pink  organza  material  to her  dress  to  get  an ombre  effect  . I have had  this  coloured  organza  for  ages in  my  stash  .It  came  from  a  £ shop .
The  background  paper is  from Craftwork  cards  Ombre  Paper  pad  ,the  card  candi  is   also from  them. .I  cut  the  base card  with  this  die  set  ,I  dry  embossed  one of  the papers and  the  base  card  .  The  embellishments  that  I used  are stickles,glitter, liquid  pearls  and  a  sentiment  from  my  stash  .

I haven't made  a  shaker  card  for  ages  so  decided  to use  the  goldfish for this  .They  are  stamps  from  LOTV which  I  coloured  with  Promarkers   ,The idea of  adding  a cat  came  later  and  the  sentiment  even  later .  Iadded  gingham  card  and  ribbon  .I used  die  cut  seaweed  and  white  discsto  fill  the  shaker  .  The  cat  is  diecut  with  a  freebie  die  and  I  used  black  stickles  to  look  like  fur  ,

I  started  this  card  today  as  I  just  wanted  to make  a pink  card  with lots of  sparkle  .
I began  by  using  a  Shadow  Box  card  from  Hunkydory  , I used  CC  Christmas  Paper for the background    and  edged it  with  Tim  Holtz  DI  Spun  sugar . I  also  added pale pink Organza  ribbon  around  the  edges of  the  box .
The snowflakes  are  cut using  cricut  cartridges  and  punches  ,On  top of  these  I  added  silver peel offs  and  pearls  .
The other  embellishments  are  Organza  ribbon,  buttons,LOTV  tag  Christmas  sentiment ,glitter. stickles and liquid pearls .

I  began  this  card  by  layering  the  base  card  with  a  turquoise  Mirri  card  .The  next layer I  designed  using  Serif  . I  then  used  a  feather  border  by  Do  Crafts  to  dry  emboss  some  metallic  mirri  card  , I  die  cut  three  feathers ,the  first I  stamped  with  gold  ink,  the  second I used  Copper  embossing  powder  and  the  third  I used  Peacock  Blue  embossing  powder  .
' I   completed  the  card  by  using  a  stamp  that  came  with the  freeebie die  .

For  this  card  I  used  pale  green mirri  card  layered  with  spotty  paper  from  LC  Designs  .I  added  Pinflair  highlight  dust  as  sand  .I  printed  a postcard  shells  rock and  chips  ,fussy  cut  them  and  added  glossy  accents  and  glitter  , The image is 'a day on  the lake  by  Dis  digis  which  I  was lucky  enough  to  win. I just love  those  teddies  .I  mounted it onto  some  sea paper,coloured it  with  promarkers  and  added  stickles  for  sparkle  . The  sentiment  was printed on  a  dymo  marker  .

I  came  across this  sentiment  and  just had  to  make  a  card  around it  ,  It  also had  to  be  mainly green  and I  know  just  who  I  am  going  to  give it  to. I  can see his  wife's  reaction  already  !

I  needed  to  make  a boy's  birthday  box  and  thought  this  Pink  Gem  digi  would  fit  the  bill.
I  used  Brown  spotty  decoupage  paper  to  cover  the hexagonal  box  . I printed  7  Pink  Gem  digis  'Baby  Animals'.I  coloured  them with  promarkers  and  fussy  cut them before  attaching  them  to the   box  . I used  Decopatch   glue  to  cover  them
I  added  washi tape around  the  edges   and  a sentiment  before  covering again   with  decopatch glitter  glue   ,When it  was dry  I  added  green  flock  powder  for the grass  .
