I needed  to make  a  card  today  once  I had  cleaned  the house  and  done  last minute  shopping  . 
I havent made one  for  a  few  days now  and  it  was  nice  to have  a change  from  Christmas cards  .Why  I  chose  a  baby  card  I  do  not  know  although  my  niece is  expecting  so  maybe it  will  be  a girl  . I love  this  cute  stamp  which is  House  Mouse  Baby  Blanket  .I  coloured it  with promarkers  and  added  Glossy  accents and  stickles  .  The  main  card is  made  of  double sided  gingham card  and  I  used  Crafters  companion  Diesire  Fancy  Edge'ables  Renaissance or the border .
I  dry  embossed  the  card  with  Sue  Wilson  Snowflake  Lattice    folder  and also  the  backing  for  the  stamp  to  which I  added  liquid  pearls . The  frame is  a  Spellbinders  die  cut . 
The  embellishments  I  added  are  Organza  ribbon  and  bow  ,pearls,lace  and  a  printed  Safmat  sentiment  .  I  doubt if  this  will be  my  last  card  before  Christmas but if it  is, I  would  like to  wish  all  who  look  at my blog  a  very  Happy  Christmas  and  thank  you  for  all  your  comments.

I  said  a  few  days  ago  I had made  my  last  Christmas  card  for  this  year !  I  obviously  can't stop  as here is  todays  card  .
I used  a  black  base  card  and  edged it  with  Gilding  Wax  The next layer  I  designed  using  Serif  . The  robin  is  a  digi  from  either  CC or  Sheena  Douglas  ? .  I coloured it  with  promarkers  and  glittered it  . (Then  I  lost  the  robin  and  spent  30 minutes  looking  for it  .Does  anyone  else  have  that  problem  ? It had  fallen in  the  bin  !)  I  added  Ribbon , Bow  and  stickles  glitter on  the  snowflakes  .

Another  quick  card  today, I   embossed  the  base card  with my favourite  embossing  folder  and  picked out  the  colours  on the  raised  parts .
I  used  Serif  digi files  for  the  layers . The image is  from Nitwits

I  began this  card  by  dry  embossing  a  black  base  card  with  a  lattice  folder  ,I used  Gold  gilding  wax  and  gold  stickles  to  define  the  embossing  .  I  added  a  background designed  onn   Serif  and  added  gold  stickles  and  peel offs  . I  die  cut  a bauble  several  times  and  stuck  them  together  to make  a  decoration  which  can  be  detached  from  the card  . I  added  gold  paint  and  a  gem and ribbon  ,

I got  thes ebutton  embossed   cards a  couple of  months  ago  because  they  took my eye  . .
I  highlighted  the  buttons on  the  card  with  Panpastls  using  pan  pastels in  Pink and  brpwn and  stickles .
I used  a  rabbit lotv stamped image which I  coloured  with promarkers,
I used  ordinary  buttons  as  well .  The  forecast tomorrow is for more rain and dullness. Perhaps  I will  be  able to  make  another  card 'or  two !!'or  will  the housework take over ?????

I have  made this  special  card for my husband  this year  .  I  used  a  lattice  die  from Robert Addams  to  die cut he  flaps on the main  box card  .  I  added  many  snowflakes  either  die  cut   or  sequins  , I used  many  scaraps  from my  stash and peel  offs  for the  words  and  some of  the  decoration  . I backed  some  of  the  lattice  folds with mirri card  .
I kept the  colours   blue  and  white   .I like  the  effect of  a  box  card  as it  always  a  surprise  when it  pops  out of  the  envelope

I have just  realised  that  it is  a  week  since  I  last put  a  card on my  blog  and  I have  missed it !!!!. Like  everyone  else , Christmas  preparations  seem  to  have  taken over my life  so I  made  the  effort  to  actually  get in my  craft  room  and  make one  this  afternoon  .
I used  background  paper  from Little  Claire  -  Snowy  Ombre  , The top layer  I  designed  using  serif Winter  Christmas digikit. The  Sledging  bunny  stamp  is  from  Penny  Black  Winter  Wonderland  and  I  coloured  it  with  promarkers  and  added  srickles .
The  embellishments  are  LOTV  tag,  red  bow  ,Aleene's  glitter  glue  snow  ,snowman  sticker  ,snowflake  die  cut  ,sequin  snowflake  and  Liquid  pearls  for  the falling   snow  .
I  do hope  a  car  doesnt  come  down  the  lane  !!! That's youngsters  for you  !!

I had  almost  forgotten this  die  I had  by Sheena  Douglas  of  Christmas lights but  thought  I  would use it  as  a border  with  the  Christmas  tree ,  That  is  a  die  cut  from  a  freebie  die  but it  cuts  so  easily  .
I used   Papermania  paper  as  a backing  paper  and a  frame  from the same  collection  too . I embossed  a piece of  red  paper with  Sue  Wilson  embossing  folder  . I coloured  the  tree  die cut  and the lights  with  promarkers  and  stickles  .
The  embellishments  that I  used  are  liquid pearls, dewdrops ,gingham  bow and lotv  sentiment   tag.

I  embossed  this  base  card  once  again  with  my  favourite  embossing  folder  Sue  Wilson  Snowflake Lattice    to which I  added  Liqud  Pearls  in  white  .
The stamp is  from Little  Claire's  Dinkies Brrr !  which  I  coloured  with  promarkers, stickles  panpastels  and  liquid pearls  . I layered  it onto  a  die  cut  from Cricut  cartridge  .  ,
I  was  hoping  that  this  was the last of  my Christmas  cards  but  then  another  challenge  starts  and I just  have  to  make  another  .At this  rate  I  will  have  enough  for  next  year  !!!!!

I just  love  this new  stamp  from  LOTV  .It  comes  with  a  few others  including  a  larger  fish  but  this one  just  appealed  to me  on his  own  .  I  coloured it  with  Promarkers  and  glossy  accents  which I  cracked  when  it  was  dry  to  give the  impression of  a  broken  bowl  although  it  doesn't  show up on  the  photo  . 
I  embossed  a  piece  of Little  Claire's  snowy  ombre  paper  with  a  raindrop  embossing  folder  and  used  glossy  accents t give the effect of water spilling .The  embellishments  are  a  spellbinders  Regal ovals  die ,stickles  and  peeloffs  for  the  words.
I  wanted  a card for  a belated birthday  so  I designed  this for  that reason.

I  bought these  red  bags  from  a  local  supermarket  cheaplly  and  I  designed  a  collectio of  presents  from  my serif  digikits  . I layered  the  design onto  a  green  candy striped  card  .I  then  searched throuhg  all  my  Christmas embellishments  and  added  varoius  bows  stickers  die  cuts  which  I found in my  stash  ,  The tag  s  an  embellishment  of  Father  Christmas  and  I added purple and  pink  ribbons

I made this  4x4  card  for  the first  time  for  a challenge  and  I found it  a great  size  to  work  with  as  the  dinky  papers  from  Little  Claire  fit  them  perfectly  whilst leaving  a  border  to  show  the embossing  .
I  used  a  snowflake  embossing  folder on  the  base  card  .  The paper  is  Snowy  Ombre  Dinky  papers  .  The stamp is  LOTV  'Snow  Flurries' coloured  with  Promarkers  and  cut out  .

I  have  had this flowered  ribbon  for  ages  and  I  keep  wanting to use  it  as it is  so pretty  .  I  designed  the colour  scheme on  this  card  so  that  I  could use it  , 
I used  Backing  papers  from  Lili of  the  valley  Solids  Paper Pad  .I  added  a paper  yhat I had  designed  using thank  you  papers,  I had  to  colour  the  sentiment  again  as  it  was  too  pale  .

I  am really  enjoying  designing  cards  using  the  digikits  from  Serif  and made this  for  a  friend to  invite  another  friend  to  tea.

I love  making  cards  with  mostly  white on them  as  you  can  get  great  embossing  to  add  texture  .  I  used  a  collection of  Die  cuts  on this  card  .
I  began  by  dry  embossing  the  base  card  with a  Crafts Too  A4  embossing  folder  which  meant  I  could  emboss  the  whole  card  .  I  added  liquid  Pearls  in  white and  gold  onto  this

I  decided  to use  an old  favourite stamp of  mine for this one .It is  Lili of  the  Valley  'Moving  Day'. I  coloured the  stamp  with  Promarkers  and  Pan  Pastels  .
The  backing  papers  are  Graphic  45  Home  Sweet  Home  Papers .  I  framed  the  design  with  an octagonal  frame  cut on  Cricut  and  coloured  with  Promarkers  . The  embellishments  are  Red  Metallic  Washi  Tape  ,Key  charm  ,bath button  and LOTV  Sentiment  .  When  I know  the  new address  of its  recipient  I  will  add  a  number  tag  onto  the key  ,

For  this  card  I  dug out  a  stamp  I  used  to  use  a lot  years  ago  ,It is  a  snowman  from  Crafters  Companions  Cute  Companions range  .I had  forgotten  how  cute  those  stamps are  !

I  found this lovely  backing  paper  which is  like  an ombre  paper  with  snowflakes  and it  just  lent  itself   to  be used  with  these  diecuts  . The  round ones  are  freebies  from  Christmas  magazines  and  the others  are spellbinders  baubles  with  embossing  folder  from  Sue  Wilson Snowflake  Lattice  .
I  glittered  and used  liquid  pearls  to  embellish  the  baubles  and  completed  the  card  with  a  Christmas  tag  from  LOTV  and  a  ribbon  coloured  to match  with Promarkers  .

 The background paper I  found on one of  my  craft  cds  and  the  sentiment  I  found in my  stash  /  The  large  shoe image  is  one  I  won  from  Bugaboo  and is  called  'Poinsettia  Heel  .' I have used  these   little  elves  a  few  times  but  I  decided  that  this  time  I  would  use him  on  his  own  ,  It is  one of  a  set of  three stamps  called  Santa's  little  Helpers  trios  from LOTV. I  colloured  it  with  promarkers  layered it onto  black  card  and  a  white  die  cut   .  I  embossed  a  circle  using  a  Sheena  Douglas  snowflake  folder  , I embossed  the  base  card  with  a  holly  wreath  folder  amd  added  Liquid  pearls and  a  peel  off  sentiment  .

I love  this  image  from  Sheena  Douglas  . It is  called Christmas  Cocoa  ,
I  coloured  it  with  promarkers  adding  a  sugary  texture  to  the  biscuits  and  chocolate  .  It  was  then  cut  and  layered  onto  an  embossed  circle  card  .
I then   added  stickles  glitter  glue  a  gingham bow  and  a  sentiment  and  edged  with  promarker  .

When  I  started  this  card  I  decided  I  would  see  how  many types of  lace  I  could  add  to it  .
I  began  with  designing  some  lacy  shapes  in  white  on  a  blue  background  using  Serif digikits . with  a  kraft  card  border .I  edged  the  card  with  blue  and  white  lace  and  then cut  some lacy  shapes  using Cricut  Paper  Lace  cartridge  which  I  then  sprayed  with  CC  Spray  and  sparkle  diamond  spray  .
The  card  was  completed  with  a  LOTV  sentiment  and  pearls  .

When  I  went  to  the  NEC  last  week  I found  this  amazing  media  Print it  which  enables  you  to  print on  an  inkjet  printer  and  stcick onto  a  candle  .So  here is  my  first  attempt  .  I used  Serif  digikits  to design  and  print  the image  and  date  .

I  fancied using  CC  Angelica  image  for  my  girls  in  white  dresses  , I  coloured  them with Promarkers  and  glitter  and  added  real blue  satin  sashes 
The  background card  is  gingham  from   Create  and Craft  and  I  added  die  cut  frames  .Flowers  and  a  bow  completed  the  card  .

I  bought  this  stamp  last  year  from LOTV  and  had  almost  forgotten that  I  had  it  . It is  called  'Bonfire  ' I  coloured  it  with  Promarkers  Panpastels  and  Stickles   The  backing paper  I had inn  my  stash   I  cut  a  circle  frame  from  Cricut  and  added  a LOTV  tag  ,peel off  letters  and  a  bow in  curly  string  to  give  the  effect of  sparkles  and  smoke  .

I  dont  like  these  short  days  as  the light  makes  all  my  photos  have  a  blue  hue  !!
I used  Little  Claire's  Patchwork  paper  for  a background
The  foreground  I  designed on Serif using  a  Craft  digikit   .  which  I layered onto  a piece  of  LOTV paper  .
I  cut out  several  octagons  and  glued  them together  .The  embellishments  are  Tape measure  ribbon ,ribbon  bow  scissors  charm  and  stickles

When  I  designed this  card  these  three  made  me  think  of  the  reindeer  that  were  not  chosen  to  pull  the  sleigh  hence  the  title  .

The  stamp  for  this  card is  LOTVs  Angel  with  Crib  which  I  coloured  with  promarkers  and  stickles  , For  the  background  I  used  a  LOTV  Paper  from  Frosty  Christmas  Paper  Pad .
I  covered it  with  some  lovely  organza  material I  found  at  the  NEC  last week  .  The  background  image  is  from  MCS  and  I  felt  the  carol  fitted  the  stamp.  I  surrounded  it  all  with  Spellbinders  Nestabilities Squares  edged  with  Silver  Gilding  Wax  ,  Peel off stickers  notes , stickles  , liquid  Pearls  and  a  dewdrop  completes  the  card  .

When  I  got  this  stamp  amongst others  at  the  NEC  last  week  I  had  to  colour  it straightaway/
It is  from  the new  release  from  LOTV  and is  a  cute  little  mouse .

I used  a  Spellbinders  nestabilities frame  edged  with  Wow  embossing  powder  Peacock  I  also  used  this  at  the  edge of  the card . I embossed  the card  with  an  embossing  folder  that  looked  rather  like  corn  .  which  I  topped  with  Spectrum  Noir  Glitter  Pen  . The  stamp  and  corn  were  coloured in  Promarkers . I  completed the  card using  Panpastels  and  peeloffs  .

Once  again  I used my  favourite  embossing  folder  (Sue  Wilson's  snowflake lattice  )  .I used it on  the black  base  card  and  the  white  layer  . The layer   was  cut using  a  Martha  Stewart  Round  the Page  punch  ,
I practised  masking  the  stamp  (This is  Little  Claire  Dinkies  Flowerhead stamp)  which  I  coloured  with  Promarkers  . I  did intend  to  add  another  layer  but  decided  it  was  to  be  a c  and  s  card  so I just  added  a  Spellbinders  die  cut  fern some  liquid  pearls  on  the  lattice  and  a  peel off  sentiment  .  I  decided  it  was  suitable  for  a sympathy card with  the  black  background.

With  embossing  folders  and  different  paints  etc  it is possible  to  get  some  good  effects  without  using  any colour  and  that  is  what  I  tried to  do  with  this  card  .
I  dry  embossed  the  cardstock  using  Sue  Wilson's  snowflake  lattice.The pattern  lattice  was cut  from  my  cricut  cartridge  .  I  embossed  this  too  .I  die  cut the  sentiment  from  a  freebie  die  .The embellishments that  I  added  are lace  , ribbon  and bow  ,pearls  and  liquid  pearls   and  a  pearly  sequin  .

This is  the last of my  Halloween  cards  for  this year  so I  will probably  give itto someone   next year  .
The  base  card is  black  and  I  added  a  sheet of  Little  Claire's  spotty  paper  which  I  edged  with  gilding  wax . 
I  designed  the  background  picture  and  sentiment on  Serif  adding  Stickles  and confetti  stars . 
The  image is  a  Bugaboo  Halloween  Brat  witch  which  I  was lucky  enough  to  win  recently  .  I  coloured it  with  promarkers  and  added  Card  candi  and peel offs  to  finish  the  card  .

I  went to look  for  some  inspiration  this morning for  a  background for  a    Christmas  Card  in  my Serif  programs  .  I  clicked  on  the  wrong  key and  found  these lovely  baubles  in the Docrafts  digital  designer  files  instead  ,  I  changed  the  colour of  them  made  a  cluster  and printed  them on  card  I  then  decoupaged  them  .  I also  designed  a  background  with  them  and printed  that  ,
I got  this  die  recently  It is  from  Crafters  companion Diesire  Edgeables  Lattice  Flourish  .  I  cut  this  om  both  sides of  the  card  and  added ink  and  glitter  .
I  cut out  the  cluster  and  covered  them with  Glossy  Accents  and  glitter  .  I  cut  the  background  paper I had  designed  to  fit  the  panel  .
To  complete  the  card  I  added  turquoise  paper on  the  inside  to  emphasize  the  die  cuts ,
 gold  cord , coloured  bows  and  peel offs  .

As  I  was  walking home  this morning  I  thought how  wonderful  the  colours of  the  leaves on  the ground were .  I  saw  this particular  one  and  picked it  up  .It  was  still  early  and  the frost  was  around  the edges  .  When  I  got  home  I  dried it  and  coated  it  with  PVA  glue .  A few  years  ago  whilst on  an  Art  course  I  made  a  whole  project on  leaves  including  mobiles  coated in  this  way  which  preserves  them  .I  added  glitter  to  recreate  the frosted effect   .Whilst  that  was drying  I  designed  a  leaf  background on  Serif  using  several  programs  sprayed it  with  Spray  and  sparkle  and  put  glossy  accents  on  the  conker  and  acorn  .  I  cut  2  ovals  using  my Cricut  and  used  copper  gildIing  wax around  the  edges  .I put  PVA  on  the  back of  all  the  leaf  and  that  will  seal  it in .   I added  a  peel off  sentiment  and know  that if  I  do  not  give it  to  someone  for  their  birthdaythis  year    it  will  last until  next  year  ,

This  stamp is  from Little Claire  and is  We  five  cats ,  I  coloured  them in  Promarkers ,added  stickles,cut  them out  and  matted  them onto  a piece of  snowy  ombre  paper  also  from  L.C.
I  cut  an octagonal  border  from  Cricut  and  layered  this  onto  a piece of  Spotty  paper  from  Helz  Cuppleditch  The night  before  Christmas  collection  .  I  finished  the  card  with  a  Nitwit paper  ribbon  and  a  Peel off  sentiment  .

As  soon  as  I put  these  two  stamps  yogether  they looked  so  coy  and  I just had  to  add  the  caption  of  the  Beatles  record  !  They  are  Tilda  and  Edwin  chef .
I  coloured  them  with  Promarkers  and  stickles and   added  a peeloff  seat . The  background  papers  are  from  my  stash  and  I  think they  are  Dovecraft  teatime  papers  .I  added  some   buttons and  confetti  hearts  .  The  sentiment  is  peel off  letters  .

The  base of  this  card  is  red foil  dry  embossed  with  a  snowflake  folder and  then  distressed  with  sandpaper . The  foil  really  embossed  well  so  I  shall  use it  again .The  background  paper  is  from  LOTV  Snowy  Christmas pad  ,  I  cut  two  borders  from  Cricut  George and  Basic shapes  which  I edged  in pen  .  The  sleigh  was  a  cut out  shape in  cardboard which  I  colored  with  a  Metallic  Promarker  .  I  added  bells  ,  cord  and  confetti  to  produce  a shiny  image  ,An  LOTV Christmas  tag  and  green  ribbon completed  the  card.  ..The  Christmas  theme  seems  to be taking  over my  stash  at  the  moment  . .I  added  Aleemes  and glitter  glue to  create  a  snowy  background  .
