The  background  for  this  card  was  a photo  taken of  violets  growing  this  week . .After  layering it onto  green mirri  card,I  added  a  stamp  by  woodware that  I have  had  for several years of  violets  to  a  gingham background adding  a purple  mirri  layer . After colouring  with  Promarkers  and  adding  glitter  from  Lavinia  ,I  completed  the  card  with  purple  mirri  card  ribbon  and  bow .

 I   bought  a magazine  this  week  which  contained  these  beautiful  papers  by  Christina  Griffiths  . I just  had  to  make  a  card  straightaway  using  them  , I  die  cut  a  basket  shape,leaves   and  flowers in  white  and  coloured them  with  Promarkers  adding  liquid  pearls  and  stickles  and  I  added  a die  cut  bunny  .  The  sentiment  was part of  the  CG  kit

 I  think of  bluebells in  the Spring  so   decided  to  cover  this  card  with  them.  I  designed  the  background  by  replicating  a bluebell  digi. The  dragon  design is  from  Lee  Holland  and is  called  Dragon  smelling  bluebells. J  fussy  cut it ,coloured  it  with  PMs  and  added  glitter  .

 This week i have dug into my Stamping Bella stamps  . This one is  called mermaid  collection  . I  coloured  ti  with  Promarkers  and  added  the mermaid  with  foam  pads and I  fussy  cut it . I know a  couple of  young  men  who  will be  taking  this  test  soon  so  I  thought  I  would have  a  card  ready  .  I used  a bugaboo  image  which  I  fussy  cut  and  coloured  with  Promarkers adding  glitter   .  I used  a  freebie  design  from  Scribbles  as  a  base  for  this  card  . It is  called 'Sunflower  '. I  fussy  cut  three  ,coloured  them  with  promarkers  and  added  glitter . I used  some  die  cut  sissix  flowers to  add  to  the  flowers  and  printed  an  ombre  background  from  LOTV  papers .  

To  complete  I  added  organza ribbon  and  bow and  a  die  cut  sentiment.

 I haven't made  an  easel  card  for  a  long  time  so  decided  to incorporate  this  die  cut  heart into one  . I began  by  fussy  cutting  an  LOTV wreath  and colouring it  with Promarkers  and  adding  glitter  glue .  I  used cut  three    types of  silver  card  and  dry  embossed  them  with  a  heart  folder .

I  added  heart  and  circular  gems  around  the  card  and  left  room  for  the  names of  the  couple  who  have been  married  for  6o years  ,

 I  created  this  background using  distress   inks  and  brusho  on  a  gel plate  . All  the  stamps  are  from  Lavinia  and  I  distressed  the  edges of  the  circle  before  layering   onto  gold  mirri and  an  embossed  card  background .

 I used  a  bluebell  stamp  from  Hunkydory  for  this  card, colouring it  with Promarkers  and  adding  glitter  . I   added  die    cut  frames  .  To  complete  I  added  die  cut  sentiments  .  I used  a  second print of  a  Lavinia  stencil for the background.This  was  done  by  spritzing  the  stencil  with  water  after  the  first  stencilling   which  gives  a  more  subtle  background . For me  bluebells  are  a  real  sign of  Spring.
