Cool Summer

It  really  feels  like  Summer has  arrived  today  so it  put me  in  the  mood  for  making  this  card  ,
All I  need  now is  to  get the real  flips flops out  !
I  began  this  card  with  a  base layer of  satin  card  which  I  dry  embossed  .Once  again I used 
Serif  to  produce  the  background  and  lettering  .
I  am fond of  making  flips  flops  and  used  LOTV  On  Birdie  Lane  for  the  background  for  this one  before  adding  Paper tape  and  ribbon  flowers  .I printed  the  label

The palm  tree  is  cut  with  a  cricut  cartridge as is  the flower   and  the glasses  are  stickers from  my  stash  . Glitter .Liquid  Pearls  and glossy  accents  complete  the card

    This makes me think of the Caribbean - not that I've ever been there - but it has such a lovely tropical feel with the giant flip flops, the palm tree and those cocktails. I love it !!Alison x
