Strawberries

Strawberries  are  just  coming into  season  so  they  seemed  the ideal  fruit  for me  to  choose  for  this card   as  I have  also planted some  in the  garden  this  week  . 


I  edged  the  deckle  edged  base  card  with  Ruby  Gilding  wax  . I  got  the  strawberry  background  papers  free  with  a magazine  last  year  and  they  just  fitted  the  LOTV  Stamp  which is 'Strawberries  '. It has butterflies on it  as well  but  I  didnt  want them  on  this  card  .I  coloured  it  with  Promarkers  and  backed it  with  Spellbinder  Nestabilities  Picot  Edge Die  Cut  which  I  also  coloured  with  Promarkers  before  spraying  with  CC  Spray  and  Sparkle . 
The  background  paper  behind  that  is  Little  Claire's  Ombre  Papers  which  are lovely  shaded  colours  .
The  embellishments  I used  are  Printed  sentiment  Green  Ribbon  and  bow and  glossy  accents  to  shine  the  Strawberries .I  recycled  an  acetate  flower off  a birthday  card  I  was  given  as  the  colours  matched  .
