Disc  for  hanging 

 

 Whole  card  before  bauble   removed 

I wanted  to make  a  card  that  would  hold  the  bauble  disc  but  would  still  be  a  card  when  the bauble  was  taken off  to  hang on  the  tree  

I  began  stamping  onto  the plastic  disc  and  colouring  the pattern  with  markers . I  did  the  same  to  a  die  cut  circle  to  add  to  the  card  .The background to  the  card is  made up of  a   die  cut  circle  pattern  and  patterned  film  which  I  rediscovered  in  my  stash  .

I coloured  die  cut  border  and neatened up  the  edges  but  the  photos  are  self  explanatory  .

 I heard  of  a  recent baby's birth  so  made  a  card  to  add  to  a  gift !albeit during the winter season!

Unfortunately Babies don't know it is Christmas or Winter! I used  a  baby  digi  design  from  Di's digis  for  this  tag. I  felt  that  the  shape  lended itself  for  a  tag  . I  laminated  three sheets of  card  before  fussy  cutting  around  the  design  .   I  coloured  it  with  Promarkers  adding  stickles  and  posca  pens.  To  complete  I  added  a tie  , another  baby  die  cut  .and die cut boots.

Inside  this  shaker   card  are  lots  of  sparkly  stars,snowflakes   and  other sequins  To set of  the  shaker  I  added  die  cut  snowflake circles . I  had  dry  embossed the  front  with  an Embossilicious folder  and  I  picked out  the  pattern  with  silver  stickles  After  die cutting  a circle in  the  front of the  card  I  addedstickers  to  complete .

 This  cute   snowman is  a stamp from Creative  stamping  . I   fussy  cut it  and  his  accessories  and coloured it  with  Promarkers   .  When  I  bought  the scarves  and hats  I  expected  them  to be  thinner  and  fit in  cards . With  tags  it  doesn't matter  about  the thickness  so I  decided  to  use  tham on tags . For this one  I  began  with  a  background  of  a  snow  scene  with inks  and  posca splats. I  added  skinny  washi  tape,  foam  snowflakes , scarf  and  knitted  hat, stamped  sentiment  from  LOTV  and  bow  . To  complete  I  added  more  nuvo  drop  snowflakes .

I  decided  to  go  for  blue  on  this card  . I   began  by  dry  embossing  a  die  cut oval from Tattered  Lace  .To  this I  added  die  cut oval and  snowflakes  . A  snowflake  embellishment  ,snowflake  stickers was added  to  the  snowflakes , Nuvo  drops  and  posca  splats  made  the  snow  and  I  completed  the  card  with skinny  washi  tape  and  a   sticker  sentiment .

I  am  now  fully  into  Christmas  cardmaking  and  tried  to  make  a  card with  acetate  .I began it  with  a  snowflake  stamp from Creative stamping  which is   where  all  the  stamps  on  this   card   are  from.  .Die  cuts  came  next  to  frame  the card  .I used  heat  resistant  acetate  using  the  snow  background  and  sentiment  stamp with  embossing  powder   .  I fussy  cut  the  houses  colouring  them  with  promarkers.  

To complete  I added  stickers and  snowflake  embellishments .

The  base  card  that  I used  for  this  card  has been in  my  stash  for  a  while  . I am  not  sure  what  the shape is  called but  it  is  folded  so  that  two  images can  be  shown  alternately  .(see  both  photos )
