This  may  seem  a  strange looking  card  at  first  but  I  wanted  the  end  result  to  appeal  to  an  embroiderer   with the  embroidery  hoop  and  the  embroidery  partly  completed and  the needle  and  cotton still on  the  card  .

Serif  program  for  the  knitted  and lace  background  ,
Background  Dotty  blue  Card
Card  circle  border  embossed  with  X  cut lace  circle  border  and  coloured  with  promarkers 
Canvas  paper  (to  look  like  needlework  aida  )  stamped  with  Little  Claire  Digistamp flower in  blue .
Stitches  coloured  with  promarkers  .
Embellishments  are  ----
Tape  measure  Ribbon  from  Crafty  Ribbons  (this is  white  but  I  coloured it  tan  .)   Buttons  diecut  scisors  and    needle  ,cotton  and  sentiment  from  my  stash  .

At  a  recent  class  I made my  first  pop up  box  and  decided  to  have  a  go  myself  .  I  really  enjoyed  this  project  although  it  took me  a long  time  ,  I  have  added  several  photos  as  there  is  so  much  to  see on it  -

Pop up Box  card
Snowflake  die  cuts  from  Spellbinders  mounted  on  circles of  card  dry  embossed  with  Sheena  Douglas  enbossing  folser  coloured  with  blue  promarkes,  for  card  sides, topped  with  pearls  .
The  flaps are  covered in  Little  Claires  Snowflake  Papers .  die  cut snowflakes  and  topped  with  a  coloured  dewdrop  .
I  added string  ribbon  around  the  top  and  stamped  and  coloured  some  Cute  companion  stamps.After  glittering  them I  added  them  to  the  box  along  with  several  die  cut  snowflakes  and  a  die  cut  Noel  . I used  wire  to  suspend  them within  the  box .
The  embellishments  are  die  cut  NOEL  and    peeloffs   .

I have  been  meaning to  make  more use  of  Vellum  and had  some  coloured  vellum  in  my  stash  from  ages  ago  that  I  had forgotten  about  .When  I  got this  poppy  stamp  and  die  I  thought it  would  suit  the paper  ,It  cut like  a  dream  and  was  so  easily  shaped into  the  flowers  so I  will be  making  more use of  vellum in  future  !

I  love  this Tatty  Twinkle  design  and  decided  to  get  as  many  colours of  the  rainbow  on  to  my  card  .

I  used  Rainbow  paper  for  the  background  paper  and  coloured  the  edges of the base card with  promarkers  in  the  colours of  the  rainbow  .  I  designed  a  sheet  and  bubble on  MCS using rainbow  colours  .  The tatty  Twinkle  image  was  coloured  with promarkers  .

Another  \Christmas  card today  just  a  dinky  card  onto  which I used  an ombre  snowflake  paper
in  green  .When  it  was  on  the  card  I  dry  embossed  them  both  with  a snowflake  embossing  folder    .
The  stamp is  Winter  fairy  by  LOTV  .I  coloured it  with  Promarkers  and  added  glitter  (Jones  Tones  irridescent  )  for her  wings  and  Liquid  pearls  for  the  fur on her  dress .
I  coloured  lace  with  Promarkers  and  peel offs  and a dewdrop  coloured  pink  completes  the  card  .

Try  as  I  might  I  could  not get  a photo  of  this  card  to  show its  true  colours  and it  looks  very  blue  which it is  not  . I  thought this  card  would  be ideal  for  a little  girl  passing  her  dancing  exam or  being in  a  dancing  display ?

 The  background paper  from  a  Papermania  Capsule pack  French  Lavender  . 
I  then  dry  embossed  a  sheet of  Little  Claire  Ombre paper  with  an X  cut  Lacy  circle  embossing  folder  .
I heat  embossed  the  stamp  with  black  embossing  powder  ,  the  stamp is  LOTV  Dainty  Dancing  which  I  coloured  with  Promarkers  and  stickles  Purple  glitter .This  was mounted on  a  die cut  circle and  a  circle of  paper  from  my  stash
The embellishments  are Memory  box  die  cut  precious  hearts  ,star  confetti  and  a peel off  sentiment  .

I have been  making  a few  pairs of  shoes recently  which  I  always  enjoy  doing . I used  paper  from  my  stash  for  the shoes  . I  embellished  them  with coloured  peel offs and  organza  ribbon  .
I like  to print  the  labels  for  the  inside  and  outside of  the  shoes in  Safmat  as  it is clear .
I  put  these  shoes in  an acetate  box  with  a  tag  to  match  the paper .

Once  again I designed  the  background for  this  card  using  Serif  Craft Scapes Twilight  Forest .
I then  stamped  the  fairy  in  blue  ink  with  a 'Freya  ' fairy  stamp  by  Lavinia .
The  background  is  dry  embossed  with Couture creations  Super  Powder  Puff  embossing  folder  and  sprayed  with  Crafters  Companion  spray  and  sparkle  irridescent .

I made  this  card  for  a lovely  and  very  sprightly  lady  who  will be  100 years old  next  week  .  She loves  flowers  and  I thought  these  were  appropriate  for a birthday at  this  time  of year  .  A  very  happy  Birthday  Jean  !

I began  by  dry  embossing  cream paper  with a daisy  embossing  folder  .  I  cut  a  ring using  cricut  to  use  as  a base  for  the  wreath  ,
I  cut  the   cornflowers  and  poppy  petals  using punches  (Tonic)  and  the  daisies  with  a  Spellbinders  aster  die  .They  were  all  cut  from  white  card  and  coloured  with  Promarkers
The leaves include  Spellbinders  ferns die  and  a  variety  of punches  ,The centres of the flowers  are  made  with  Liquid  pearls  and  in  the  case of  the  daisies  a piece of  card  candi  covered  with  yellow  flocking  powder  .
A gingham bow  and  a  sentiment printed  on  Safmat  completes the  card  .

I  began  this  card  by  dry  embossing  the  base  card  with  Sheena Douglas  Snowflake  embossing  folder  after  which  I  sprayed  the  card  with  C.C.  Spray  and  sparkle  iridescent  spray  .
The  main  Plaque  is Penny  Black blooming oval ,a wooden  stamp I have  had  for years  and  which  often  comes in  useful  .  I  heat  embossed  this  with  white  embossing  powder  and  topped it  with  liquid  pearls  .
The  embellishments  are == Word  and  Mistletoe  cut  with  Cricut  and glittered  ,  Card  Candi  ,stickles  white  and  dew  drops  .

It  really  feels  like  Summer has  arrived  today  so it  put me  in  the  mood  for  making  this  card  ,

This  week I  have been  using  some of  my  serif  programs  to  design  a  background  for  a  stamp .
For  this one  I  used  Water  Garden as it had  dragonflies  on .
I layered  satin  black  and  white  card  before   adding  the  printed  design  ,  I  die  cut  and  stamped  on  acetate  then coloured the stamp with promakers using  a  dragon  fly  die  and  stamp  I  got  with  a magazine  ,

Today  is  cold  and  wet  again  (not  that  I  needed  an  excuse  to  get cardmaking  but  I  did  !!! )
I  tried  to  make  this  Gorjuss  stamp  look  a  bit  vintage  by  using  darker  colours  .It is  surprising  how  a  coloured  stamp  can  differ  so  much  when  coloured in  a variety of  colours  .

I love  this  cat stamp  and  wanted  to  make it  Christmassy  so  decided  that cats singing  carols  would  be  an  idea  .
