I  have most  things  prepared  so  decided  to  give myself  some  crafty  time  this  afternoon  ,    This  challenge  reminded me of  this lovely  stamp  so  I  decided  to  make my  second  card  for  next  year  or it may  come in  useful  for  a  last  minute  forgotten  card  .

I used  a  black  card  background  which  I sprayed  with  CC  Spray  and sparkle  gold. I  used  a floral  embossing  folder on  this  but it  doesn't  show on  the photo  .  The  die  cut is  Tonic  trellis circles  ,The  stamp  was  free  with  a stamping  magazine  . I  coloured it  with  PMs  and  added  stickles  and  glossy  accents  . The  stamp  has  apples  but  I  preferred  flowers  so  added  Christmas  roses  from  Petal  Lu and  Poinsettia  flowers using  shrink plastic  flowers  that  I made  ages  ago  and  had in my  stash  I  added  card  candi  and  Peel offs  to complete  the  card  .

This  gingerbread  house is  made using  a  set of  tonic  dies  which  I have  admired  for  a long  time  . To  construct it there  were many  parts  to  die  cut  but  I  was  able  to  add my  own  embellishments  ,a  wreath on  the  door  and  decorations  on  the  tree  , I  added  bells  around  the  eaves  and  Aleene's  glitter  snow  on  the  roof . This  will be  an extra decoration on  the  Christmas  table  .  It  would  be possible  to  add  a  battery  tea light on  construction  .

I made  this  for  an old  ( crafting  )friend  , The  papers were  with  a mag  and  I just loved  the colours  and  designs  . They  were  based on  baubles  and  branches  and  I  chose my  favourites  and layered  them on  satin  card  . I  die  cut  a  bauble  and  backed  it  with  glitter paper  in  the  same  shades  and  added  stickles  .

I  couldn't  resist  using  this  cute  Hedgy  once  more  for  a last  christmas  tag  card . I used  a  red  tag  card  from Little  Claire's  designs  for  the base  card  and  used  a  background  paper of  berries  from  my  stash  .

I  just  love using  these  biscuit  digis  as  they  are  so  CXhristmassy  but non  calorific  !!

I love  shades of  violet,lilac  and purple  in  all  sorts of things  so  I  had  to  colour  this  delightful  image  in  those  shades  .

Isn't it  amazing how  ideas  for  cards  come in  the  night  !  I have  been  wanting  to use  these  die  cuts of  cutlery  and figgy  pudding  on  a  card  for  a  while  and  the  song  came into my  mind  at  the  same  time in  the middle  of the night   .
The  die  cuts  are  from  a  Christmas  table  setting  set  which  I bought  from  Craftstash  , The  background  paper is  from  my  stash  and  for  the  words  I used  Toolbox program and  die  cut  the sheet  using  a  nesting  circle  die ,

For  anyone  who  has  looked  at my  blog  before  ,you  will remember  that  I  said  I  was making  crackers  for  the  whole  family  this  year  . Well here  are  the  first  two  . I have  found  gifts  snaps  paper hats  and  a  special  gift  for  each  person  so hope they  will  go  down  as  well  as commercially  produced  crackers  .

To  show  glitter 



How  different  three  photos  of  a  card  can  be  but  each  one  shows  a  different  aspect  !!
After  experimenting  with the  twisting  centre of  cards   I  decided  to  try  this  white  one .
I  embossed  a  white  base  card  with  a  Sue  Wilson  snowflake  embossing  folder  . I  die  cut  the  base  card  after  using  stickles  on  the  embossed  sections  . I  bought the  MDF  bauble  and  after painting it  white  and  adding  stickles  and  confetti  stars  I  attached it  to  the base  card  with invisible  thread  so it  could  swing  freely  .
I  added pine  branches  die  cuts  ,white  pom  poms  and  a  sticker  sentiment  from  my  stash  .

I  began  this  card using  a  polka  dot pink  card  as  a  base  card  to  which  I  added  cupcake ribbon   . Using  a  CC  dsc  I printed  the  foreground  paper  and  die  cut it  using  nesting  circles  dies  . I  die  cut  cupcake  cases  and  cakes  added  Promarkers  ,liquid  pearls  and  stickles  and  stickers,strawberry  and  lemon  from my  stash.

I  began  this  card using  a  holly  base  card  from  the  Works  . I  then  added  papers  from  Little  Claire  designs  paper  packs  , The reindeer began  life  as  an  MDF  reindeer  shape  from  a nearby  shop .
I  added  google  eyes  bells  and  red  nose  and  holly  from  Petal  lu  designs  . To  complete  the  card  I  added  a  sentiment  from  LOTV  bow  and  bells .

Just love  these new  designs  by  LOTV in  their  second  Christmas  collection . It  was  hard  to  choose  which  to  buy  . I had  to make  this one  straightaway  .
I  used  background  papers  from  Little  Claire  and  die  cut  the bauble  using  a  Spellbinders  bauble  die  , I  dry  debossed it  with  a  Christmas  embossing  folder  .
The image is  called  Fairy  Post  and  I  coloured  it  with  promarkers  and  added glitter  and  stickles  . I used  Joy  pine  branches  to  die  cut the  branches  .
To  complete the  card  I  added  ribbon  and  sentiment  .

I  tried  to  show  all  the  glitter on  this  card  but  the  sun just  wasn't  with  me  . The background paper  for  this  card  was  one  from  Lozzys  collection  from  a bit more  time  to  craft .It is  from her Fun  collection  . I cut  fancy  funky  foam for  the  snow  and used  glitter on it  . The digistamp is  from  Lili of  the Valley  ,which  I  coloured  with Promarkers  and  stickles  for the  glitter  . The  trees  are  from  a  family  Christmas  card  from last  year  which  I  kept  as  I felt  some  of it  would  be useful  sometime  and  this  seemed  to  be the occasion  , I  completed  the  card using Birthday  ribbon  from  Crafty  Ribbons  .

When  I  saw  this  caption  I just had  to  find  a suitable  image  to use it  with  .
I used  an  LOTV  Kitten  trio  Flowers  stamp  ,but  with  my  apologies  to  LOTV my  kitten is  rebellious  and  the  flower  was  replaced  with  a  banner  .
I used  a  background paper  from  Crafters Companion  and  after  colouring  the  image  with  promarkers and  adding  stickles  I  die  cut it  using  Tonic  nesting  circles  dies  adding  a  border of  mirri  card .I  added  the  Cats  Rule  which  was  PC  generated .
I  felt  the caption  was  sufficient  for  a  sentiment  , How  apt  for  those  who have  a  cat who takes over   and you  just  pay  the  mortgage  ,

I  decided  to  die  cut into  the  base  card  using  Tonic  gift  box  background  die  here  . I  then  die  cut  the  same  shape in  red  mirri  to  give  a  trellis  effect  on  the  card  , The  image is  from  Pink  Gem  and is  called  Barclay  with  snowman  . I  coloured it  with  promarkers  and  stickles  glitter  . I  added  buttons  from my  stash  and  Ho  ho  ho  ribbon  from  Crafty  Ribbons  .  I  added  snow  with  Aleene's  glitter  snow  .The  sentiment is  a  tag  stamp  from Lili of  the  Valley and  to  complete  the  card  I  added  some  holly  from  Petal Lu .

I  began  this  card by  dry embossing  a  Kreft  base  card  with  a  leaf  embossing  folder  , I  designed  the  image using  a  variety of  digi kits  , I  layered  this onto  a  die  cut  mirri  gold  card  cut  with  Tonic  Rectangle  nesting  dies  . I  decoupaged  the  conker  and  added  glossy  accents to  make it  shine  .

As  the leaves  are  falling  from  the  trees  ,I  started  thinking  that  it  wont  be  long until  we  see  their bare  branches  covered in  twinkling  lights  . This  made  me  decide  to  cover  this  tree  with
 my  mini  lights  .
The base  card  came  from  the  works  and  the  die is  a  sissix one  that  I  was lucky  enough  to  win  recently  .
The  string of  lights  I  bought on line  some  time  ago,  and  I  find  them  really  useful  . I  added  tree light  ribbon  from  Crafty  Ribbons  and  a  sentiment   tag  printed  with a Little  Claire  designs  stamp.
