I love using  this  stamp  from  Lavinia  stamps  . Those  poor  fairies  waiting  for  their  wings  to  dry  !! I used  brusho  and  distress  inks  for  the background  and other  stamps  from  Lavinia  for  this  card  . I  die  cut it  and layered it on  to  an ombre  background  ,  To  complete  I  added  glitter  to  the  wings  . I  think  Pipin  the  rabbit  is  wondering  if  they  are  dry !!

I made  this  box  card for  a male  birthday as the recipient  is  keen  on  tools  and seems  to  collect  them  like  I  do craft   stamps  .  I used  various die  cuts  and  confetti  for   the  main items . I used  leather  look paper  and tape measure  ribbon  for  the sides  .I  stamped  the  main upright  and  also  used  embellishments from  my  stash  attaching  them  with  lolly  sticks  .

For  this  card  I used  the  cute  Bluebell mice  from  Di's  digis  . This is  a  design  from  All dressed up  which is  called Little  Butterfly  girl  . I  cut  round her  with  a  tattered lace  die  and  coloured her  with  Promarkers . Recently I made a valentine  card like  this  with the heart  die  cut out of  the  front of  the  card  and  I  decided  that I  would use it  again  for  a  Mothers  day  card .  I used  ombre paper in my  favourite  colours  on  the  fron t  and inside  and  dry  embossed them .  

The image is  from  LOTVs  mothers  day  collcction  .  I  fussy  cut it  and  coloured it  with  Promarkers  before  layering  it  onto  a  mirri  die  cut  .  To  complete  I  added  a  die  cut  sentiment  and  stickles  to  the  centres on  the  embossing .

At  this  time of  year  Snowdrops  remind me of  my  Mum  . It  would have been  her birthday  and  Snowdrops  were  her  favourite  flower  . They  are  such  a lovely  sight  to  see  at  this  time of  year  so  I thought  they  deserved  to  be on  a  card  . I  die  cut  the  flowers  colouring  them  and  adding  stickles . I  used  nesting  circle  dies  to  layer  them  . The  background papers  are from Paper  Boutique Country  stroll  papers .

 After  finding  some stamps of leaves as a freebie   in  a magazine  . I decided to  have  a go using  gold  embossing powder on black  card. I  dry  embossed  a  diagonal  on  the  card  using  an  embossilicious  folder.

After  embossing, (with Wow  gold , ) the leaves , I  added  sequins  and completed the card by  adding a  die  cut  sentiment  .

 At last  I  am  able  to  start  card making  again  after  my  knee  surgery  .I have  wanted  to  for  a  few weeks  but  was  in  too much  pain  so  had  to be  happy  with  creating  them in my  mind  . I  did order  some of  the new  stamps  from  Lavinia  and  used  them on  this  card  .  

The background  was  made  with  distress oxide  inks, brusho  and  Lavinia  stencils.  I used  cosmic  mica  for  the  gold  areas . The  stamps  I  used  are  Mllie  Shrew  ,orchard  grass ,dragonfly  ,Fantasea  and  button.

 This is  the  first  card  I have made  since having  total  knee  replacement  surgery  a  few  weeks  ago , I missed it  so  much  and  many ideas  were  forming in my  head  but the  pain  was  too bad  to  make  them  . Now  I  can  hobble  to my  craft  room  things  are looking up.
