I  always enjoy  making  a card using my  favourite  colours of  Bright pink  and Purple . I have always loved  these  shades in  clothes  ,furnishings  , and  even my  bridesmaids dresses ..

For  this card I used  a digi  from  All Dressed Up,she is one of  their  Autumn  girls .  I  fussy  cut it  coloured it  with  Promarkers , added  stickles to it  and the  floral  design and  adding  a pom pom  .  I  dry  embossed  the cut out oval  and  the base card .  The  flower  cut out is  from  Kanban  papers.  I  added  cosmic shimmer opal  blaze  to  the  embosed  areas .  I  added  striped  ribbon  topped  with  pink  organza  ribbon  and  bow  and to  complete  the  card  I  added  a  die  cut  sentiment  .

 The memories  that returned  whilst  I  was making this  card  were tremendous!  I  started it  with  using items that reminded me of  childhood  holidays  . I used  items  from  Craft Artist  and  Kate Hadfield  to  design  the  base of the  card  .I layered  this onto  a  seaside  background  .

When I  added  the  embellishments  the memories  came flooding back  , The  ruched swimming  costume  that  fell down  when  filled with water  . The  'cool' sunglasses,  .a  trip  to buy rock  which in my  case  was  Welsh  No 5  rock,  the  taste of  which  was  amazing ! I  also  added  shells which I  searched the beach  for  and  sand,  ,the  feel of it  between  your  toes  after dry  socks  were put  back on ! The  punch  and  judy  show which  we never  felt  was cruel , and of  course  the ice  cream  cornets  which have    never tasted  so  good  since!   I  thought the title of this  should be  a celebration of  memories  . 

I used  buttons for the glasses  ,costume and rock  ,real  shells , and  flock  powder  for  the  sand  . To  complete  I  added glitter  .

 This  cute  design  comes  from Polkadoodles  and is  called  Lavender  . So  I  decided  to  give the  whole  card  a lavender  touch  . I used  a  background paper  from  my  stash  and  a gingham  paper  from  Lozzy's lovely  papers  at  My time to  craft  . I  die  cut  an oval  in the base card  and after  fussy cutting her, colouring  with  Promarkers  and  glittering her , I  attached her  to  the front  of  the base  card. I  fussy  cut lavender  sprigs  and  found  some lavender  flowers  still  flowering in  the garden  so  I  added  them  to  the flowers  which  also  gives  the  card  a  smell  of  lavender  .I  added  purple  mirri  card  which  I  dry  embossed  to  the inside  of  the  card.

 I managed  to  get  some dry  and wet  embossing on  the  card  . I  die  cut  three  trees  from  Crafters  companion  and  laminated them  .  I made  this  card  for  an  ex  colleague  who loves  bright  colours  . Yhe  nights  are  drawing  in  and the  autumnal  smell is  there . This  always  reminds me of  the smell of  bonfires,fireworks  and  roasting  potatoes  in  the fire  . So  I decided to celebrate  Autumn  with  a  November 5th  card  . I used  a  background from  my  stash  and  die  cut  a  circle in  the base card for  the bonfire to shine through  . I  created this  with  distress  crayons,distress inks  and  PMs  . I  fussy  cut the fireworks  and  added glossy  accents  and  lots of  glitter  . The children  are  die  cuts  from  a  Sissix Halloween  die  ,which  with  careful  cutting of  hats  etc  I have been  able  to use  them  for  different occasions  ,this  time  by  adding  glitter  to  make  sparklers .  I  completed  the  card  with  date  stickers  . . Sadly  many  people will  not  be  able  to  celebrate in  the usual  way  this  year  but  I  hope the memories live on  .

close up of shaker and Prills

 Since I  got  these  tiny  shaker  domes from  Sissix  I have  been looking  for  a  chance to use  them  . I  thought  a lollipop  would  be  a  good  example and  I  filled it  with  Prills , as  recommended  to me  by  a  crafting  friend  _thanks (L)

 I  began  by cutting  the  base  card into the  shape of  a sweet bottle  . I  die  cut the sweets  and  coloured  them with Promarkers , , I then  covered them  with  acetate giving  the  appearance of  glass.  The  other  3d  items  are outside the  bottle.The  jelly  babies  are  shrink plastic,  the  chocolate  has  foil on its  wrapping  and the  small  love  hearts  are  embellishments  from  my  stash .  

To  complete  I  added  a straw  for  the lollipop  stick,  added  ribbon  and  bow  and  a stamped  sentiment  .

 I began  this  card by adding  a conker  from  Kate  Hadfield  on to  an ombre  background.I    coloured  a digi from  Dis  digi  called  Conkers. I  fussy  cut it , coloured  it  with  PMs  and  added  glossy  accents to  all  the  conkers  .To  complete  I  added  a  stamped  sentiment  and  another  conker
